surface treatment
The steel surface shall be shot blasted or sandblasted to meet the Swedish rust removal standard Sa2.5 level, or hand and power tool rust removal to reach St3 level. After rust removal, the surface shall be coated with high chlorinated polyethylene iron red anti-corrosion primer within 24 hours to avoid secondary rusting.
The surface of concrete cement mortar must be placed and cured for a certain period of time to fully volatilize water, precipitate alkaline salts, and thoroughly remove them before construction. If there are cracks, pits, pores, and uneven peeling areas, putty can be used to repair and level them.
Construction conditions:
The coating must be thoroughly mixed and evenly mixed before construction.
The substrate temperature must be 3 ℃ above the dew point.
Generally, the construction temperature of high chlorinated polyethylene anti-corrosion coatings should be between 0-35 ℃. Pay attention to weather and temperature changes during construction; On rainy, foggy, and snowy days, the relative humidity is greater than 85%. In hot summer weather, construction cannot be carried out under strong direct sunlight.
Pre coating: C08-70 two component epoxy zinc rich primer, C08-10 two component epoxy zinc powder workshop primer, C08-2 two component epoxy iron red rust proof primer, and C08-14 two component inorganic zinc silicate workshop primer.
The supporting coatings for the rear are C171 high chlorinated polyethylene cloud iron anti-corrosion intermediate paint and C172 high chlorinated polyethylene anti-corrosion topcoat (outdoor type).
Suggested number of coats: 2 coats, with a dry film of 70-80 μ M.
Packaging specification: 25 kilograms in a 20 liter container.
Note: The paint film thickness can be modified according to the purpose or area of use, but this will correspondingly change the coating rate, drying time, and recoating time.
matters needing attention
Before construction, the high chlorinated polyethylene heavy-duty anti-corrosion coating must be thoroughly mixed and evenly mixed before construction can be carried out.
High chlorinated polyethylene heavy-duty anti-corrosion coating can be applied using brush or roller coating methods (primer can be sprayed). The coating should be carried out in a crisscross order and maintained at a certain speed to ensure the formation of a dense and uniform coating, reduce the occurrence of air holes. When using brush coating, the number of times to apply should not be too many, usually three times. If the number of times to apply the topcoat is too many, The bottom or intermediate coating is prone to galling, causing discoloration of the surface coating.
The dilution of high chlorinated polyethylene heavy-duty anti-corrosion coating should use a special diluent of high chlorinated polyethylene heavy-duty anti-corrosion coating. When applying at low temperatures and after sandblasting treatment, the coating does not need to be diluted. When constructing steel surfaces under high temperature conditions in summer, the primer must be diluted before brushing, but the dilution dosage must be controlled at 5% -10% of the coating amount.
The coating interval of high chlorinated polyethylene heavy-duty anti-corrosion coating is that after the first primer is applied to the steel surface after rust removal, the subsequent primer, intermediate paint, and topcoat should be applied within the specified coating interval.
security
Please pay attention to the safety precautions on the packaging label. In addition, safety regulations stipulated by relevant national or local governments should also be followed. Avoid long-term inhalation of solvent vapors or paint mist, and do not come into contact with skin or eyes. When working in narrow or non ventilated areas, strong ventilation must be provided, and even if the ventilation conditions are good, protective equipment should be worn.
