Home Products Heat resistant paint

CG15-400 two component silicone high temperature resistant paint (base/top coat)

Product Description
Composed of alkyl ester, organic silicone resin, ultrafine zinc powder, special temperature and corrosion resistant pigments, additives, curing agents, etc., both the base and topcoat are packaged in two components, A and B. Heat-resistant, temperature difference resistant, and can withstand high temperatures of 400 ℃ for a long time; Excellent adhesion between the bottom and top coats; Resistant to corrosion, chemical atmosphere, weather aging, water and moisture, with good decorative and electrical insulation properties.

Design purpose
Used for high-temperature anti-corrosion of the outer walls of blast furnaces and hot blast furnaces, as well as for protection of chimneys, flues, exhaust pipes, high-temperature hot gas pipelines, heating furnaces, heat exchangers, and other metal surfaces that require high-temperature anti-corrosion.

 surface treatment
The surface of new steel must be treated with shot blasting or sandblasting to meet the Swedish rust removal standard Sa2.5 level, with a roughness of 40-70 μ M;
The surface of the maintenance project can be manually and mechanically derusted, meeting the Swedish derusting standard St3 level, with a roughness of up to 40 μ Above m.
Steel with old paint film: sandblasted or shot blasted to Swedish rust removal standard Sa2.5 level or after removing all paint films, polished with elastic grinding wheel to Swedish rust removal standard St3 level.
Construction conditions: The temperature of the substrate must be 3 ℃ above the dew point, the relative humidity must be greater than 50%, and the topcoat must be less than 85%.

Packaging specifications:
Primer: 30 kilograms in a 20 liter container for component A, 7.5 kilograms in a 10 liter container for component B;
Topcoat: 20 kilograms in a 20 liter container for component A, 0.4 kilograms in a 1 liter container for component B;

matters needing attention
The curing agent should be sealed and stored immediately after use to prevent failure;
When the coating interval between the primer and topcoat is long, the zinc salt must be removed before recoating.
During construction during high temperature seasons, in order to prevent dry spraying of the primer, a certain amount of diluent (not exceeding 30% of the total paint amount) must be added until no dry spraying occurs.

security
Avoid long-term inhalation of solvent vapors or paint mist, and do not come into contact with skin or eyes. When working in narrow or poorly ventilated areas, strong ventilation must be provided, and even if the ventilation conditions are good, protective equipment should be worn.
