C08-2 Two component epoxy iron red primer

Product Description

It is formulated from epoxy resin, iron oxide red, and new anti rust pigments and fillers, anti rust additives, and polyamine adduct curing agents. Two component packaging, consisting of A and B, is a room temperature curing primer that dries quickly and has excellent physical and mechanical properties. It can be used in conjunction with various primers. Due to the absence of substances such as metallic zinc, the harmful gases generated during welding are reduced. It has excellent welding and cutting performance, and the paint film thickness is within the specified range, without affecting the welding performance.

Design purpose
Used as a primer for steel pretreatment assembly lines in shipyards, heavy machinery factories, etc., with a maintenance period of approximately 3-6 months.

surface treatment
The steel surface needs to be treated by shot blasting or sandblasting, and it is required to meet the Swedish rust removal standard Sa2.5 level.

Construction conditions:
The substrate temperature must be 3 ℃ above the dew point, and the relative humidity must be less than 85%. When the temperature of the construction substrate is below 5 ℃, the reaction between epoxy and curing agent stops and construction cannot proceed.

The following supporting coatings include C07 two component epoxy anti-corrosion topcoat, C252 two component epoxy coal tar topcoat, C18 chlorinated rubber anti-corrosion topcoat, C123 two component acrylic polyurethane topcoat, C14 alkyd mixed paint, C172 high chlorinated polyethylene anti-corrosion topcoat, etc.
Packaging specifications: 20 kilograms in an 18 liter container for component A, and 4 kilograms in a 5 liter container for component B.
Attention: Dry spraying is prone to occur during construction during high temperature seasons. To prevent dry spraying, a diluent needs to be added and adjusted until no dry spraying occurs.

Avoid long-term inhalation of solvent vapors or paint mist, and do not come into contact with skin or eyes. When working in narrow or poorly ventilated areas, strong ventilation must be provided, and even if the ventilation conditions are good, protective equipment should be worn.
